Carpenters Local 1820 is an industrial local, with one contractor Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Our local is made up of 54 different job titles. From carpenters to mechanics, we cover a lot of ground. Entry level positions to high skilled craftsmen. 

 

We also have a Mechanical Joint Apprenticeship program with Disney as well. It is a four-year program covering Transportation and attractions. Basically, anything that moves people to all the roller coasters. 

 

We sponsor a lot of events that make Orlando great. From cancer relays to softball and many more events. 

 

We have numerous events through the year. Cook outs, fishing trips, pumpkin carving, and our annual Christmas dinner. 

 

Training is a big way we get members involved also. Our training center in Las Vegas and the many classes we offer here at the local.
